I received my bike yesterday, after ordering on Friday...super fast delivery! Fantastic! I can't believe I dithered around for so long, before ordering my new bike..I wish I'd decided months ago because it is such a gorgeous product.
The 'sit-up-and-beg' position is so easy and comfortable to ride and because of the larger wheels I seemed to whizz along. There are some beautiful details, like the floral handlebars and matching gel seat.
Everybody who's seen it has made such positive comments and I think I saw a look of jealousy in some eyes!?
Thankyou Capital Cycles..lovely service too when I rang about pumping up my tyres!

REVIEW OF STATE PARK & CAPITAL CYCLES

I had spent over 3 weeks trying to decide which bike to buy to replace my Vintage Raleigh Caprice.  I stumbled on Capital Cycles on eBay & had a look at what they had to offer.      All of their ladies bikes seemed to impress and interest me, but in the end I went for The State Park. 

DELIVERY
My much searched for bike arrived within 24 hours of ordering, well packaged & secured.   

ASSEMBLY
This took me longer than 30 mins as I was determined to do it on my own (GIRL POWER!!!!)   & I don’t read instructions 

Assembly complete & I was able to stand back & admire “WOW, THAT’S MINE”     

RIDING & PRACTICALITY
When riding this bike I feel so tall, the sit up & beg positioning of the seat & handlebars feels perfect.   The wide angle of the handle bars is fab, they make you feel like you have power steering.
The suspension makes light work of the lumps & bumps on the pavements & roads
It’s a super smooth ride.
The inclusion of the 16ltr bag is a real bonus & not a gimmick in any way,   the bag is sturdy, has a good capacity, & it’s black & white flower design is very much on trend  and is a perfect match for the bike.  It clips to the handle bars or the back pannier well.    Combine the bike, the bag & a basket on the rear pannier & you have the perfect machine for local shopping, travelling to work or a picnic.   On its own, with its large wheels, wide angled handle bars, comfy seat, this bike is like a cruiser, but more elegant

WHAT OTHERS THINK
I rode my state park to a local festival on Saturday.  I had so many admiring comments about the bike it was amazing,   “What a lovely design”, Wow look at the size of those wheels”,  “Where did you get?”  “I love your bag”
So many positive comments, so many admiring glances, from young & old

CUSTOMER TIP RE STATE PARK!
Be aware that the State Park has an extra 1.5 - 2 inch on the frame height due to the seat suspension.  worth baring in mind if you are not tall.

My hubby and I have just bought the Modern Dutch and the State Park and we are over the moon with them and are so impressed at the level of customer service that Freddy provides.

Great companies are like great friends. It takes a bit of adversity and for things to go a bit wrong before you can say whether they are great or not.

We had a couple of little hicups. The bikes didn't arrive when they were supposed to (courier could not find address - delivered the following day). Freddy seemed more gutted about this than us! He sorted it out as soon as he could.  Secondly we had a bit of a problem during assemby and Freddy was there on the end of the phone to talk us through it.

Throughout the whole process of picking, ordering and assemby the level of customer service that Freddy gives is awsome (and I have mithered him quite a bit whilst we decided which models we wanted). I would recomend Capital Cycles to anyone.

On the bikes themselves they are fab. I feel great whizzing along in an upright position. Just need to get really fit now so that I can ride my bike everywhere! It's twelve miles home to work - may take me a while to work up to that lol. On my State Park though it's time well spent.

Just had to tell you all how much I love my new Lightweight Dutch Bike.  So good to ride and so comfortable.  I am 5'4" and was a bit worried that it would be too big for me, but it is great.  Fantastic value and I love being upright.  Can't wait to take it to Holland on holiday this year.  Would recommend Capital Cycles to everyone.

  I had a small fault with the dynamo motor and was impressed by the way it was quickly resolved. Thank you for your excellent after sales service and your prompt attention to my small problem.
